The 18th Annual Fall Bridal Show

returns to the Killington Grand Hotel

Sunday October 21, 2018

When the snow melts at the 4-season resort the majestic natural settings lure you back to Killington’s limitless warm weather adventures. These include the 18-hole Championship Golf Course, 35 miles of Mountain Bike Trails, 15 miles of Hiking Trails and then there’s the adrenaline packed Snowshed Adventure Center!

After an active day rejuvenate at the Grand (Hotel) Spa with a Warm Maple Sugar Scrub or a Black Diamond Sports Massage. The Grand Hotel’s well-appointed guest rooms can accommodate up to 400 people. The recent top-to-bottom renovations enhance their many amenities and along with an experienced and attentive guest services team is leading the way for winter couples to return to Killington in warmer weather.

Preston’s Restaurant, named for and inspired by Preston L. Smith embodies mountain lifestyle and culinary creativity with Executive Chef Gregory Lang at the helm. They can create your Reception and Rehearsal Dinner menus with your wishes and requests. The on-site coordinators can implement their design skills to reflect your taste and style in a custom-tailored one-of-a-kind wedding celebration.

Your ceremony at the peak, the highest lift service in Vermont, offers breathtaking views, amazing vistas and panoramas of 5 states, Canada and three mountain ranges. Intimate receptions in the Peak Lodge maintain the big sky feel toasting, dining and dancing in the stars.

While many brides stress over making the cuts to their guest list one of Vermont’s largest and most complete events spaces allows you to invite them ALL! The large windows of the Oscar Wilde ballroom overlook the peak. The double doors spill out onto the expanded patio area around the pool. With your ceremony at the edge of the pond you’re still only steps away from the patio bar and the promenade into the ballroom!

Our very snowy winter always inspires some surprise proposals at their favorite places paving the way for summer and fall weddings at Killington!

Come meet and greet the area's TOP Wedding Professionals and see what YOUR Wedding could look like at Killington!

Frequently Asked Questions

What time should I get there?
The doors open at 1:00 and we’ll begin the General Prize Drawings at 2:00 so plan on being there by 1:00. When you sign in at the registration table your name will go into the basket for the General Prize Drawings! If you have pre-registered we’ll have your survey partially printed for you. The first winners will be drawn from the first brides that arrive. When your name is called you pick your prize from the prize basket and then go to the vendor to get the actual prize. Grand Prizes (anything over $250) will be 3:00 when all the Brides have filled out and turned in their surveys.

Do guys attend bridal shows?
Absolutely! There is a new and growing trend of guys wanting to be part of the wedding planning process especially at our summer evening shows that have been referred to date night!

I went to my first bridal show and loved it! Is there a reason that I should go to another show?
Attending more than one show is all about choices! There is always a variety of wedding professionals at each show. Some brides have shared that they needed to go to 2-3 shows to gather the info needed to plan their weddings. Some brides will travel more than an hour to go to a show. A brides recently told us that attending a bridal show was a really fun day out for she and her Mom, sisters, sister-in-laws and the girls in the wedding party!

Do I have to be there to win prizes?
Yes, you do need to be present to win prizes. There is always so much to see and do at each show that the time goes by very quickly. At the show you’ll be meeting the wedding professionals and gathering info from each one. We usually have musicians playing and you’ll see the latest in fashions. At most shows we have a cake cutting and a bouquet toss. The Grand Prizes are drawn at the end of the show and have been referred to as the icing on the cake!
